Welcome to Springers AODS website! Our society was founded in 1982 - last year we celebrated our 25th anniversary! We have gone from performing shows in local halls to performing in the Cramphorn and Civic Theatre stages in Chelmsford, Essex. We are a very friendly group and are always on the look out for new members and welcome anyone who has an interest in the theatre. There is plenty to get involved with backstage and onstage, or if your just want to widen your social circle, we hold lots of social events for our members.  We also have a junior group, Offspringers, for children aged 7 - 18 which is very popular.

If you do not want to become a member, but would like to support us, you can do this by becoming a patron (a minimum donation of £15 per year is all we ask for). By becoming a Friend or Patron of the Society you would be kept informed of all our shows and events in the form of a monthly newsletter - Springboard - and you would receive a complementary programme when you come to see the shows. We would welcome you to all our social events and your name would be included in every programme we produce for the shows.

Even if you don't want to join the society, you are always welcome to come and enjoy a great night at the theatre, produced by a group of local amateurs who work to incredibly high standards and put on a great show. Come to the theatre - it's a great night out!
